The ARRL Letter instructed that suggestions for use of the 3 extra bits in FT8 be sent to this list. Toward that end, would you please consider using these bits for providing a CQ DX capability?

FT8 (and other modes in WSJT) already support messages of the form
"CQ XX K1ABC FN42", where "XX" is any two letters. They have done so
for some considerable time. Obviously XX can be DX. So I do not
understand what you are requesting.
